From Naples to Neighborhood Eatery
'Crust & Craft Pizzeria sprouted from a modest aspiration: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Established by the Romano lineage in 1985, our little pizzeria emerged as a family-oriented venture, with a treasure of recipes passed down across generations.
Marco Romano, our trailblazer, mastered pizza craft during an Italian expedition, learning from esteemed pizza masters in Naples, where pizza was conceived. Once home in the UK, she aspired to reproduce the essence of real Italian pizza, strictly adhering to time-honored techniques and selecting the choicest ingredients.
Our journey started with a humble establishment featuring only 12 chairs, blossoming into a cherished community hub. We have sustained our commitment to excellence and genuineness. Our time-tested wood-fired ovens continue to be at the core of our pizza creations, our dough is prepared afresh daily, and we pursue the finest ingredient selection available.
To this day, the 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' banner is proudly upheld by our family, still dedicated, with the Romano progeny at the helm of our zealous crew. Despite embracing contemporary enhancements, our essence endures: crafting scrumptious, authentic pizza that unites patrons.
